Dr. Cooper
Elizabeth Cooper, MD is board certified in dermatology. She completed her residency training in dermatology at the University of Texas in Austin, TX. She grew up in Louisiana, and she graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University with a major in mathematics and minors in biology and dance. She then attended medical school in New Orleans, Louisiana, at LSU School of Medicine, where she was top of her medical school class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She also received the Gold Humanism in Medicine Award while in medical school. During dermatology residency in Austin, TX, Dr. Cooper was chosen to serve as Resident Cosmetic Clinic Director and Resident Wellness Director, and in her final year she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Cooper is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She has special interests in skin cancer, hair loss, hidradenitis suppurativa, and cosmetics with a special focus in laser therapy, but enjoys all aspects of dermatology.
